A 32 YR OLD CANTON POLICE OFFICER HAS BEEN RELEASED FROM JAIL ON AN UNSECURED BOND PENDING HIS UPCOMING TRIAL FOR FEDERAL DRUG VIOLATIONS. JAMES BRADSHAW WAS ARRESTED LAST THURSDAY AFTER INVESTIGATORS SAY HE USED HIS POSITION IN LAW ENFORCEMENT TO OBTAIN HYDROCODONE PILLS FROM PEOPLE WHO HAD A LEGAL PRESCRIPTION FOR THEM. BRADSHAW HAS BEEN WITH CANTON P.D. SINCE 2005. HE TOLD A JUDGE YESTERDAY THAT HE IS CURRENTLY UNDERGOING COUNSELING TO HELP HIM BEAT HIS ADDICTIONS.
